Day 23: HAPPY BABY STRETCH Today is an easy Yoga and Stretch Exercise. Lie on your back. Raise both feet, separate your knees and allow your legs to relax, your ankles should be slightly wider than your hips. Depending on flexibility, grab the outsides of each foot with each hand, and gently pull while flexing your feet and pushing your tailbone towards the floor. Relax your head and shoulders, sink into the floor, and allow your legs to fall out and back as you hold onto your feet, just like a baby. For a deeper stretch, rock side to side as your continue pulling your feet towards you and opening your legs. Legs day in full effect. DB squats 3x12-15. Like I said last week, I am lightening up the loads and really focusing on the muscles and getting those neuromuscular connections. Controlled and focused lifting.
Life is good, cheat day was good. Nothing to complain about. Getting to work this week!
Last night was my first day back in the gym after having to take a hiatus. It felt so good and I’m so sore today but I feel like such a slug when I’m not active. I’m so happy and excited to get back into it 🙂
