I uploaded a new YouTube video yesterday discussing how the download feature in 5 kinds of apps can be super useful on your travels!
Would be great if you could check it out - direct link in bio!
...Also why do my hand gestures automatically go out of control when talking to camera!? I never use them in normal conversation! 😂

Working out whilst on holiday? Necessary or not?
👉As you may well expect a little context is required, but lets assume holidays are generally 1-2 weeks in length. We will also assume you're not a professional athlete who's livelihood depends on your fitness etc.
🙅🏻♂️We already know then, that going to the gym is not necessary. However, you might still want to go. This post is going to be a continuation of my 3 other holiday tips from a couple of posts back.
4️⃣ Going to the gym. Now if you're like me, you love lifting, but we're very unlikely to be able to stick to our usual gym routine whilst away. I think therefore it's a perfect time for a deload or active recovery to be implemented. Which in short means a lot less volume, meaning you could just get in the gym a couple of times or do some bodyweight work. You could take the whole time off, but you'd need some light sessions once home to get back into the groove.
5️⃣ By keeping somewhat active I think it reinforces your general good habits. One of these being a high protein diet. Protein is good here for a few reasons; keeps us full, helps prevent muscle protein breakdown & has a high thermic effect of feeding. Protein overfeeding studies really show off many of the benefits of a high protein diet, so embrace the meats whilst away.
6️⃣ Related to the point above, take protein bars with you. Quest bars are my absolute favourite all rounder bar. They have great macros, taste good & importantly don't get ruined when hot or squashed. Having a couple of these in your pocket can help keep you on track.
❓Do you train on holiday?

Hildays and Special Occasion Journal! I think I got the idea from Pinterest a couple years ago. Have spouse &/ or children write in it for holidays and anniversaries. For children you can see how they develop along the years. Cj’s just started out as just lines then pictures then words. It is a beautiful thing. It’s like having all cards you would receive in one place. #holidayhacks#pinterestmom#atheloves
I love glittery things for the holidays but don’t like it when glitter ends up all over the house ... and me. So I sprayed them with a couple coats of Mod Podge. Problem solved! #modpodge#glittereverywhere#holidayhacks

Bloating Fix 🤰🏻🙌🏼
Hello beautiful people and welcome back to day 5️⃣ of this week’s series “1 healthy tip a day.” Today’s tip is extremely useful for fixing the bloat after a big meal (á la Christmas, birthday, Tuesday night 😜). I’ve been doing this for years (it came in handy during the biscuit and gravy nights in college- go dawgs!🐾) My one caveat for all of you though is the taste- be prepared to be grossed out as this one takes a while to get used to. My recommendation would be to start with just a little bit and work your way up.
I’ve featured apple cider vinegar in this picture 👆🏼 but grated ginger would also work beautifully. I’ll leave all of the info down below 👇🏼👇🏼
Please let me know if you all have any debloating tips of your own and leave them down below 👇🏼 You never know when you’re gonna need it 🙈
Much love and see you all back here tomorrow for day 6️⃣
1. Apple cider vinegar (preferably one with the nectar)
2. Warm water (not boiling)
1. Add 1T of apple cider vinegar into warm water and stir.
2. Sip slowly.
One more washed out aesthetic for the gram.
Try this holiday hack to save money while keeping your creativity intact. Wrap gifts in newspaper for a vintage look. Use Christmas issues to add that festive feel. Big thanks to @spokesmanreview for the broadsheets!

"Broadsheet and Bow"
This year I wrapped gifts in broadsheet newspaper pages from @spokesmanreview
I took Christmas ads and articles out of context to give it that festive feel. Save money, be creative, all at once.
When you forget your slip and can totally see throught your skirt, you swallow your pride and wear jeans to church.
You also wonder WHY you own a skirt that requires a slip in 2017!

Crushing up some organic @yumearth Candy Cane Pops for a little festive cake topping sparkle! 👩🏻🍳🎂✨
Oh by the way- someone had commented that they liked my “paper plate” for Santa’s cookies- actually this is a real plate! It’s one of those hard plastic ( melamine?) non disposable plates you can throw in the dishwasher. The design is the gingerbread cookies on the plate. The kids really like it bc it’s cute- I like it bc it won’t ever break 👍🏻 You can find these pretty much everywhere now. #HolidayHacks
Today is a great day to check your wrapping supplies for next year. 🎁
Stock up while things are 50% off and store away with your Christmas decor for next year.
Then when it is time to wrap, you will have everything needed on hand (and will have saved a few dollars in the process)!
Well, we made it. Hubby and I took a minute to celebrate the fact we all got through today without any casualties with an espresso martini on the balcony at sunset (thanks mum). The day actually ended pretty great.
Lessons learned: - acknowledge Lukin more for being the patient saint he is when his little brother is attempting to derail everyone and everything - GET. OUT. OF. THE. HOUSE. especially when the beach is an option - utilise those around u willing and able to help - choose your battles. But when you've chosen one stay firm
- let the kids finish the day with a dance party. - give all the cuddles that will be recieved.
May the force be with you parents ✌
Easy holiday nutrition hack - make breakfast a light smoothie with some greens.
✅1 Cup of almond/coconut milk
✅100 grams of banana
✅30 grams of whey protein
✅As much spinach as you can stand/pack in the blender
✅1 1-2 cups of frozen strawberries 🍓
Blend and serve! You can totally make changes to serving sizes/ ingredients based on your dietary preferences. This morning my shake was ... swipe ⬅️ for breakdown!
