Timed nutrition definitely takes a little more planning than I gave it today! I was eating ground turkey and sweet potatoes for breakfast and a shake for dinner🙊. Whoops! I can honestly say that before this I never paid any attention as to when I ate my food for the day, I just went along with the food. I didn’t think to feed my body a specific amount of time before my workout or to replenish it a short time after I was done. There’s so much depth to nutrition and fitness and I just love diving into this world! Certain things I’ve tried and didn’t like, while others I’ve kept with me. It’s completely unique to YOU and that’s one of the best parts about this journey. Here’s to forever learning, trying new things, being a believer in this lifestyle and just loving the process!👍
Taco with refried beans (I buy the vegan ones), rice, black beans, onions, spinach, and salsa. Used a corn taco shell! Still under my macros for the day 😅😅 This is hard eating plant based. So. Much. Food. Probably going to have another taco lol cause IIFYM 💁🏼♀️

Lunch today is looking like this, but in a Tupperware of course 🌱🌞. Picked up some sweet potato, carrot and turmeric soup from the best @tomgirljuiceco and poured it over some organic sprouted quinoa, added organic spinach, @woodstockfoods raw pumpkin seeds, black pepper and some steamed veggies post pic 🌿🍠🥕. So simple, so easy and absolutely delicious. Turmeric has been a staple in my diet lately as it is an amazing anti inflammatory agent, helping to support my joint and muscle health and it also helps boost cognitive function due to the curcumin content which protects brain cells in the action of binding to and dissolving abnormal proteins. Okay nerd moment over 📚, but seriously add this amazing superfood to your life, it’s magic (and affordable) 🌟✨.
