💥 Meal prep💥
➕egg white cups
➕ turkey burgers and sweet potato fries
➕mixed roasted veggies & teriyaki chicken & rice.
I used to get SUPER overwhelmed with the concept of meal prepping. The kitchen tornado, the time, the recipes, cooking so many recipes all at the same time.
There is an easier way people! There is!! Recipe Egg white cups
-hash browns or diced potatoes (buy the potatoes already cubed)
-a meat either prediced ham or turkey bacon
-prediced peppers -egg whites Fill the bottom 1/3 of a cupcake tin with hash browns, next fill another 1/3 with peppers, and the last 1/3 with ham. Pour egg whites over all the ingredients. Bake at 375 for 25-35 minutes.
Turkey burgers and sweet potato fries. +Jennie-o turkey burgers +Alexa sweet potato fries
Cook according to packaging
I know this sounds silly but this was one of the hardest for me to grasp.
Buy pre cut raw veggies (or dice them up yourself). Spread on a baking sheet and spray with coconut or olive oil spray. Bake at 400 degrees for 20-30 minutes.

Made this Greek Salad bowl for lunch to fill me up till dinner 🥗 Its quick, easy and superbly delicious at any time of day 😍 Happy Tuesday, friends!! 💞
Toss it: A handful of rockets 🌿, cherry tomatoes 🍅 (halved), mushrooms (sliced), 1/4 red onion (sliced), 1/4 cucumber 🥒 (diced), black olives (I use pre-sliced) and low-fat mozzarella cheese 🧀 (diced/crumbled)
For the dressing: 1 tbsp olive oil, 1 tbsp balsamic glaze, 1 clove garlic (chopped), salt + pepper to taste. Toss it with the salad mix and serve with a drizzle of balsamic glaze (optional) and toasted rye bread 🍞 to soak in the leftover dressing at the bottom 🤤
We felt like #icecream yesterday. So we went and got ice cream. Because food is just food, and you don't need to "save" things for special occasions or "treats". Putting "good v. bad" labels on food only leads to an unhealthy relationship with food.
Also: when the description says "Coffee Break: caffeinated coffee ice cream with chocolate fudge and almonds", you don't hesitate ☕️ 🍫 😁
For today's #transformationtuesday we're featuring - Erica Lynn [@ericalynngetsfit]! 😄 -
Q: When did you commit to your transformation/weightloss and what lead you to do so?
A: I’ve been fully committed for a year now. I was so unhealthy for so long and had a bad relationship with food. -
Q: What lessons have you learned and how has the journey changed/impacted your life?
A: I’ve learned HOW to take care of MY body and that every body is different. One meal plan/workout might not be the same for me as it is for you. 😁 -
Q: What's that one thing/tip/advice you'd like to share with other people on their own transformation journey's?
A: TRUST THE PROCESS. Results will come. Don’t cheat yourself. Commit to something and finish it. You can do anything! ~ @ericalynngetsfit 💪 -

Some days are just harder than others 🙏🏻😇 Sorry for disappearing on everyone for the past few days, had some self-reflecting to do, both mentally and emotionally. So today I spent my morning with a good 5km run alone with my thoughts, feeling refreshed 🌞
In my bowl: (0% fat) Vanilla yoghurt, blueberries, fruit & nut mix granola, raisins and a good drizzle of PB 🥜
Snack, giant cos lettuce leaves lined with whole milk cheese slices and sauerkraut.
Snacks should always include some protein and fat to make them filling substantial little meals. The problem is most of our average snack foods are just refined carbohydrates that do not fill us up for long. So then we eat wayyyy to much of them, have excess energy and store it as fat.
Think muesli bars, crackers, chips, sweet biscuits, pastries and baked goods.
What do you want to eat as a sustaining nutrient dense snack?
Unrefined whole grain foods such as brown rice crackers are a better option, whole grain baked goods and fruit and veg are good carb options to team with fats and proteins like nuts and seeds, nut butters, hummus, tzatiki, boiled eggs, cheese, yoghurt and avocado.
E.g. Carrot sticks with hummus
Guacamole with brown rice crackers
Cherry tomatoes and a boiled egg
Nut and seed based snack bars
Whole natural yoghurt with berries
Cheese and cucumber slices
Apple slices with peanut butter
I may need another snack now...🌰🥑🍎🍒🍓🥜🧀🥚🍠🥛 #smartsnacks
