Had a bomb bi and tri day today😋😋 not gonna lie my legs are STILL sore from Thursday 😩😩 lately I love hitting upper body but I don’t think there’s anything I Love more than being sore... Ik sounds weird right? I love finishing a workout knowing I worked really hard. I killed a total body sculpt class and finished it off with 10 minutes on the bike. The leg portion of the class was really tough, especially after I took thighs, butts, and guts yesterday, but I feel really good after finishing it 💪🏼. I’ve been foam rolling my hip every morning and upping my strength training and I think it’s helping the pain a lot. Barely running probably helps that too! Going to get dig inn tonight for dinner to give my body all of the nutrients it needs to recover and build the muscle I’m working hard for 🍑. Did a workout with @sarahhbell today. Ended up doing a full body workout and mixed a few things up. These are a few exercises we did, trying to get our form right 💃🏼😎🍑

Feeling really DAMN good about this hump day workout💀💀 I explained below what I did!!!. 1️⃣dumbell squats. Increasing weight 50,65,80. 6 reps each weight, no rest in between, repeat x4!!! Boy was my booty burning.
2️⃣straight leg deadlifts!! I added a plate under my heels but didn’t record again. That just helps me hit my hammy a little harder. 4x10.
3️⃣LUNGESSSS(which I hate so I’m making a point to do more of them until I don’t) ended up doing 4x6 each leg. Yuck🙄🙄.
4️⃣Last but not least!!! I love to play around with this squat/calf raise variation. And HOLY MOLY. Your hamstrings will be on fire and so will the bootayyyy. Did 4x8!!!!!.
😝😝Give this one a try boys and girls because it is a freaking good workout. I ended with glue raised and some resistance band finishers!! Maybe next time I’ll record that to give you a peek at how I warmup/end workouts.🤟🏼🤟🏼 .

I would say 80% of client queries relates to ‘how to get abs’
The answer is a combination of 1) food 2) a regimented exercise routine and 3) genetics
I cannot say abs are made in the kitchen enough to people!
You eat clean you get lean! 🤷♀️ No amount of crunches will get you a flat stomach over eating a diet packed with clean meats, veggies, fruits and controlled carbs!
If I eat a slice of pizza or two I instantly become 6 months pregnant! It’s not a look I enjoy but The point is I’m human and not blessed with good genetics so I rely on my food and heavy exercise to keep my tummy as flat as possible! 🥗
Every exercise stems from your trunk-from your core. I never ever train abs! 😊 but I know exactly how to connect with my core when performing exercises like pull ups or even military press 😊

PULL-UPS: I have a love-hate relationship with pull ups. I love em cuz they are so dang good for ya, but I hate em cuz they are so dang hard cuz ya girl is thiccck (bottom half of you know what I mean 🍑) However, I have been making a point to do them after EVERY upper body day just to get better at them. Just a few months ago it was a struggle to do ONE! Now I can do sets of FOUR with hardly any struggle! 💃🏼 I usually do as many sets of 3-4 unassisted reps as I can until I cannot do them any longer and then I do 2-3 banded (assisted) sets of 8-10 reps! This has helped me a ton in trying to increase my pull up strength!! I hope it can help you out as well! My goal is to get 10 unassisted by my birthday (February 26th) 💃🏼 If you can believe it you can achieve it my friends, get after it! I hope you all had an amazing day ❤️

I finally added #gymshark to my pathetically small collection of gym leggings 🙌 These are fab, tried them out for legs tonight and they passed the test 👍 I also got the form compression leggings which are gorgeous but very see through, so they won't be worn for squats ever 😂 Hit a new pr for squats tonight @ 75kg x3, so happy days 😊😊
