#flashbackfriday to me getting out of my comfort this year by going to LA by myself as I have never travelled by myself in my whole life... I know I have always traveled with friends or with hubby and he usually does all the traveling arrangements so this was a whole new experience for me and my year’s resolution involves breaking out of my shell, trying out new things, traveling often with the family. So when I found out #gymshark team was having a pop up store in LA, I knew to take this opportunity to go and meet the owner @benfrancis@gymshark@gymsharkwomen family as I’m such a huge fan of their brand! And since this week’s #gymshark66 is about motivation, I can def say that the athletes keep me motivated to be in the best shape of my life and always inspired by their workouts that I’m always trying or adding them to my routine! I literally booked my flight to arrive in LA the Friday before the mayhem and then to leave that Saturday at 9:45pm... and be home on Sunday early morning! I had originally intended to stay until Sunday but didn’t want to be so far away from my boys! Thank you to this sweet soul @charli_chavarria for letting me get in line with you otherwise I prob wouldn’t have made it to my flight on time and thanks for the #gymsharkfamily for making my experience at my first pop up store one of a kind! Glad I got out of my comfort and decided to actually connect with these amazing people on a deeper level than just social media 🙌🏾 I would really love to be a part of your brand! Quick video of my two days in LA... didn’t get to take as many food pics because i was busy busy but I mostly at cafe gratitude 🌱so check it out if you’re ever in LA! •
I am currently focused on my body fat percentage, water weight, muscle mass , last but never the least my weight. Weight is the last number that concerns me when starting a journey like this I usually go based off how I feel & how my clothes are fitting. Here is to staying motivated & not letting the scale define me. #YouCan#Gym#Fitness#GymShark66#gymsharkfamily 💕💪🦈 Day 15
This took a lot for me to post, but here it is. Although not as consistent as I would want to be, this is my 66th day. Over the past half year I've discovered a real love for fitness. While I'm still trying to master eating healthy and drinking enough water to drown myself (like all of us, with the occasional cookie... Or 20. Not joking.) I've been trying to work on my mental health too. For quite some time I haven't been the most confident about myself in many ways, have had countless breakdowns, and anxiety up the walls. When I workout and lift weights, I'm able to focus on nothing else but myself: challenge myself to more weight, do one more rep, or.. Are my pants see through? (😂) Anyways. I'm nowhere near where I want to be mentally or physically, but it's a lifestyle. This is my mental and fitness journey. 💪🏼🤓 For those of you who were willing to stay and read this, I love you 😂 Be ready for possibly more fitness posts to come 😅😁💪🏼 Also, currently crying watching Gymshark LA Pop up shop vlogs. Hope to meet all my athlete idols one day soon! 😭💗 Oh. And I chopped my hair off.

Instagram vs Reality. There is no such thing as ‘self made.’ Behind every strong woman is a squad who has her back. ☀️🌈💕 #teamhuman#gymsharkfamily
Hello🙌 someone asked me for my top 3 tips for staying on track and noticing improvements in their physique today so I thought I'd share them with ya all 😄
1.drink your h2o (wateh) seriously this is the most important first step to take in whatever your fitness goal is cut/maintain/ bulking
2. Trial and error - put your science coat on and observe the results you get on a weekly basis. If it doesnt work for YOU then chaaaange it sista! But don't go nuts do not change your whole routine in a week. Do little steps for lasting and sustainable results
3. Stress level/ sleep - HUGELY important . From my own experience I have seen the beat results when i am not stressed and get enough sleep. So plan ahead, organise your week to help you stay peaceful inside and get results on the outside 🍑 sleep > cortisol levels 💗👊
GYMSHARK LA POP UP PT 1. 🦈
Words do not even begin to explain this weekend. Getting to meet all of these beautiful sounds was the perfect way to start the year.
🍍 First set is @nikkiblackketter and I have been following here since she became @gymshark first female athlete. To see all that she has accomplished since then and to be there for the launch of her second line was unreal. She is a constant reminder to always be yourself no matter what other people say and to always continue to chase your dreams. And To always do what makes your heart happy
🦋 second set is @whitneyysimmons and I do not even know where to begin. I recently started following Whitney on YouTube and at first I actually didn’t like her videos 🙊🙊 but then a friend made me watch about 10 of her videos in a row and I don’t even know why I didn’t like her to begin with. Her journey is so similar to mine and literally every time I watch her #trainforlife video it gives me chills. CHILLS. (Like you should go watch it right now) She has taught me to never let a set back cause you to give up. To enjoy the little things, and that everyday is A BEAUTIFUL DAY TO BE ALIVE.
These ladies have not only shaped me to the person I am today, but also have shown me who I want to become.
Thank you @gymshark for having such an amazing team of athletes who continue to inspire the world. I hope to be half of what these ladies are one day.

First day back in the gym post-christmas, bit late to the game but 🤷🏼♀️ time to start getting ready for summer
Wish I was there but just want to give a shoutout and say words can’t express how amazing these athletes are and how they inspire and motivate me in what I love doing. This brand will grow even bigger and bigger. Follow the movement! #GymSharkFamily 🦈

We are so proud to call these people and all of you around the world the Gymshark Family. Thank YOU for helping make this weekend one of the most wild, exciting and joyful weekends in our lives. Thank you all for supporting our vision. We love you all ❤ #GymsharkFamily
"We're here to put a dent in the universe"☄️ As we head into the busiest time of year for us, it's crazy to think how quickly the year has gone already and how much has changed. It's gonna be an insane few months, and I can't wait for everyone to see what we have in store for 2017.
Time to bridge the gap between @Gymshark and the likes of Nike and Under Armour. Time for a new age company to rise up. 💭
