Sitting at 60.5kgs with lean mass of 49.2kgs so the rest is chocolate and butter chicken😝😭 main focus is hammies, quads and of course, the lower tummy🙄 Looking forward to the results of the 2 week bootcamp with @risefitstudio. It’s amazing what you find out about yourself when you set goals and push yourself past those limits you created for yourself.

Snatched up them triceps for the lunch workout...overhead rope pulls, tbar pushdowns, cables, dumbbells and dips.
Had an intense workout today! Was super tired and didn’t feel like working out that early but I did it anyways! why? Because I have goals I want to reach, why? Because I love working on becoming the best version of myself. Sometimes you have to sacrifice some things to go where you want to go! And if you know me you know I LOVE my sleep but I know I can commit to working out most days at 6am so I get it done and maybe look forward to a little nap during the day😂🙈 But for real y’all decide, commit, and act on it!
Today’s workout was one of my accessory leg days which was focused on the quads and adductors. On accessory days I find it beneficial to give my CNS a break from listening to loud music and listen to audiobooks or podcasts instead. This allows me to focus on the contractions and mind muscle connection more than just going through the movements. The program that i have been following the past 11 weeks is called Max Hype by Chris Elkins and Christopher Barakat. Not the only muscle I'll have by March 💪 I know I should probably hold onto this gem for #tbt but I can hardly contain my excitement... 8 years ago today 😍 I had a quarter life epiphany and bought myself a muscle car 😄 1972 XA Falcon, the largest / widest body Ford sedan ever made and my baby (before the real babies)! She is finally coming home, the transport and insurance is booked and I almost feel like crying (I probably will in a couple of months once I have her in my hot little hands) 🤗 Shoutout to Classic Cover Insurance NZ for making it so easy!
Supplements...Can live with 'em, and can definitely live without 'em. ⠀
There's a lot of debate over what supplements are right for fat loss or muscle growth. Which ones are good pre-workout post-workout or during a workout.⠀
Really, supplements are going to make up such a small portion of your results if you do everything else right. ⠀
When your diet and training are on point and consistent, supplements can be that extra 5% that push you over the edge. But without the diet and training, supplements can't really work to help you at all. ⠀
Diet + Training + Supplements = 100%⠀
Supplements alone = 0%⠀
Not 5, not 10, 0%. They do nothing without all the rest.⠀
Nothing happens without locking in all the other boring fundamentals that get glanced over in a lot of fitness posts. This one included. ⠀
So before you start thinking about what supplement you need to optimize muscle growth, ask yourself if you're getting enough calories everyday. Or enough protein. ⠀
Ask yourself how many hours of sleep you're getting every night, and whether most of your calories are coming from not-so-nutritious foods.⠀
That's where the focus should because that can make up 80% of your results, where supplements can only add maybe that extra 5%.⠀
Well that's one way to show off after workout 😍👏

Quem me conhece sabe que adoro genuinamente treinar 🏋🏽♀️ 🏃🏽♀️ 🚴🏽♀️ : terminar a pingar 💦 e a atirar-me para o chão de cansaço e sem fôlego 🔥 . “Acabar-me” em treino. Tenho mesmo muita energia! ⚡️ Mas outro facto sobre mim é que adoro praticar yoga 🤸🏽♀️. Adoro acalmar, alongar, tentar as poses que mais me desafiam. E para alguém com tanta energia quanto a que eu tenho: equilibra-me muito bem.
Hoje foi dia de ambos os treinos, um após o outro. E este ano é ano de isto acontecer muito mais vezes. Por mim.
