Did a thing today, decided to add another challenge to kick my rear into gear, cause I am serious about getting my body into shape for the summer! Tomorrow will be the kickoff start to doing the #jessiesgirls3k Challenge!! Figured what do I have to lose, other than inches and gaining a lotta of muscle for these next 12 weeks...and plus doing my works challenge #250kchallenge2018 , doing both of these challenges will help keep me accountable and staying right on track!! Your body, yes your body, the human body, is already comes fully equipped with this fancy organ called a Liver. It’s job is to detoxify and filter blood that comes from the digestive tract. It secretes bile, which is the leftover junk our body doesn’t need, and gets rid of it in the form of urine and feces. So your liver is your bodies primary defense when it comes to detoxifying your body.
“But how do you keep your liver healthy?” you may ask... well, you could waste lots of money on detox’s, cleanse’s, fit teas and all that other crap... OR... you can just improve your diet!!! WAIT WHAT?!?! Yup!! You could just eat better! No need to waste money on a 3 days system to cleanse your liver. Simply adjusting your diet will do that for you.
“So then why do these products exist?” which I bet is your next question... well, it’s because the companies who sell these products know that YOU won’t change your diet and treat your body right and may need something like what they sell. So they tell you that by drinking their product, you can rid your body of toxins and the best part is... YOU CAN STILL EAT LIKE CRAP!! Oops... probably shouldn’t have spoiled their secret. But there it is. The cold, hard truth.
Simply put - don’t waste your money. Buy some veggies or walnuts or fruit or literally ANYTHING that is good for you... AND EAT IT!!

It was a beautiful day running errands for my mom.. I was wearing my favourite pair of comfy sweats and living my best life. I finished pre training week 1 of #bbg on Friday and just know I’ll get week two done so I can be ready for needles tmr 😬😬

What do you ya do when the gym is packed, it's leg day, and you can't get to a squat rack or a cable machine?
Step 1: 😩Don't pout... not gonna lie for a teeny tiny second I thought about bailing to go home and binge watch Mindhunters instead. But I sucked it up and got creative!
Step 2: Find a pair of dumbbells/kettlebells/or body bar and your own little corner and quickly claim your territory.
Step 3: Try the workout shown here. Swipe right for da rest. I'd suggest performing these circuit style if you're using light weights to keep the intensity high. Otherwise lift 'em heavy y'all. 🏋🏼♀️

11pm at night...”does that mean I can’t eat anything?” No, it just means you should be more aware of what you consume during the later hours of the night. For instance, this is a cava bowl. For those of you who don’t know what cava is it’s basically a Mediterranean chipotle. In this case I got some super green as a base (kale, brussel sprouts, etc.), 3 different kinds of hummus (protein/some fats), chicken, beats, tomatoes and cucumbers and a sriracha yogurt drizzle (also contains some protein and spice)

#mood after 36+ hours of #nosleep 😵😴 spent the past half day traveling, and thanks to some mishaps and inconvenient flight times I didn't manage to get any rest. Not only has it made me moody and irritable but it's left me more susceptible to making bad food decisions, which is tempting enough when not in a routine or home environment! Obviously this was an extreme situation, but tbh I'm pretty bad at getting in enough hours in everyday life too. Getting on a regular #sleep schedule is something I want to prioritize - the difference when I'm well rested is truly night and day. 🌜☀️ that being said, #goodnight!

A lot of people forget, I know where you’ve been. I spent my entire life in a bad place with a bad relationship with food that ruined so many of my years on this planet that should have been amazing. When I talk to people sometimes I get the “you don’t know what it’s like, you don’t know what I’m dealing with” mentality. Oh honey, you have no idea. I may not be there right now at this exact moment but that’s because I CHOSE to be I control and change my life. It’s not easy, I’ll give you that. It was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done. Deadlifts is one of my favorite and hate exercise but I do it anyway. Why? Because I endure pain and gains. Always keep your chest out and back straight when your doing deadlifts. And most importantly, make sure that you breathe! So don’t be “Dead” when you “lift”, Breathe! Follow my fitness journey!
