It is surreal that for years i was always scrounging, saving, waiting for the very cheapest options (k ill probably do that til i die), or hoping for a big tax return so we could go on vacation every year and now, because I help people FEEL their absolute best and get LASTING results, I’m constantly being sent all over the world as a result! Like, what?! 😲Getting ready for Los Angeles in a couple weeks and gearing up for Mexico in april- BOTH trips earned thru this biz.
I dont do it for the trips, I already love what im doing and it is rewarding in itself. BUT, in light of my post earlier today about my hubs cleaning and meal prepping 😁 plus working his butt off in fire academy lately, what perfect timing🙌 to be able treat him to this since I would not have earned it without him.
And i DONT share this to brag, but to show what is possible, in hopes of inspiring a few of you to step outside your comfort zone and go for your dreams. When you work hard and you give it your all... being a mom, a friend, a lover, workouts, meals, house cleaning... the list goes on.... and you don't take sometime to give back to YOU, you can't be your best self. 20 degrees at 5am = busting out the booty shorts!
Except I nearly didn't because I was too busy having some sort of pre-dawn existential crisis about the state of my thighs.
I used to be a big fan of the good ole mumble pants when I was Crossfitting, I wore them with pride and did not give a fuck because I felt strong, fit, capable and fucking badass enough to outweigh concerns over any trivial dimples. Although my body isn't dramatically different since being benched by injury, my self perception and confidence has taken a bit of a hit, I figured I wasn't fit chick enough to be strutting in the shorty shorts.
But then I thought fuck that. Sure, my legs don't have the quads they used to, and yep, I walk with a limp at the moment and I'm kind of embarrassed about that, but these little legs still get me out of bed every morning and take me to the gym or the garage for a workout where I do whatever the fuck I can. I may not have all the muscle I used to, but I've still got the fucking grit to keep getting up and getting it done.
There's that old thing about being in the present. If you can forget about comparing yourself to what you were, or what you think you should be, and just do the best with what you have right here and now, I reckon you're doing a pretty fucking amazing job.

Mine have never been 100% great but never horrible. This year with this program I recommitted to following the eating plan and cooking healthy meals for my family. No excuses. The structure of this program is really been amazing 😉 and helped me focus more ...... I need all the help I can get!

Self care is important to maintain a healthy relationship with yourself. Do something for yourself to boost your confidence, self esteem and produce positive feelings 🙏This could be as simple as reading a book, taking a bath, getting your nails done, going for a walk or connecting with loved ones 🌸

Spinal extension has definitely been a ‘journey’ for me, it’s taken a lot of work for me to get into this swan 😂
My fave way to perform the swan is on box on the reformer as I find the glide so helpful to get me deeper into extension. I start it off with some scapular isolations ☺️

Practicing of the Hang Clean and a 6kg med ball squat as my gym doesn’t have access for me to do to Wall Balls. This was my 3rd set and I felt like I was getting a good hold of the hang cleans.
So the session was 15-12-9-6-3 of each exercise for time💪🏻 plus before hand was some upper body workouts of pull-ups, face down rows, and stric press as well as some bicep curls and tricep extensions.
Love learning new exercises. As I always say practice makes perfect.
