Want to know the secret to being in the best shape of your life? Follow these 4 steps:
1) Understand, in your deepest soul and heart, that what you LOOK like will never be what creates your happiness or what makes you feel good enough .
2) Practice working from the inside-out. Healthy minds and bodies go hand in hand. You can’t have one without the other. Focus on creating internal goals that your external goals will be able to compliment. For me, I have a hard time slowing down and this constantly pushes me into burn out and exhaustion. My internal goal is to a lot time for mindfulness and breathe DAILY to give my mind that space to slow down. This internal goal comes into play during my workouts by listening to my body more - being in tune with the muscles I am activating and my breathing patterns versus just going to “crush it” at the gym .
3) Stop restricting food and food groups. Restriction forces our brains into all or nothing modes and we end up not being able to have balance at all. Foods that at one point we ate in moderation turn into foods we constantly crave/binge on when we have them. Instead of restricting, tune in to what foods make you feel the best. Typically, “trigger foods” such as high sugar and salty treats WON’T fall into the category of making you feel good due to the hormonal response they produce. Chances are the foods that DO make you feel good are naturally healthier choices and don’t come from a bag or a wrapper. .
4) BE CONSISTENT. Move daily. Breathe daily. Keep aligning your mindset with your physical goals. Habits are formed over time and consistency ALWAYS yields results. Don’t fall into extreme traps that claim you will get your dream body in 2 weeks. Instead, choose daily consistency and find empowerment in your commitment to invest in your health for life. .
There you have it :) the tricks to getting into the best shape of your life! .

Hey friends 🤗
I hope you don't mind the summer vibes 😉.
With this post I want to make my account a bit more personal again. I don't know why I stopped posting non-food pictures. I just didn't manage to take some new ones ..but why not showing you some travel pics until I get to take new pictures. 🤔
I really wasn't sure if I should share this experience with you as it's very personal but I thought it might help some of you.
A few days ago I cleaned my room and somehow while I was doing that I started crying ..out of nothing. I felt this overwhelming happiness that I've never felt before. I felt so grateful for everything I have for all the wonderful people in my life and for all the beautiful things that happened to me in the past weeks. I can't really describe this feeling but this experience was so special and since that happened I can feel this happiness and warmth in my heart again when ever I think of it. This is just so crazy!
It all started while I was travelling with Nina @vegan.dreadhead last year and she told me more about spirituality ..I remember our first conversation about it when I didn't really believe anything she told me. But after a while I got really interested, started reading about things like the law of attraction and affirmations -> also thanks to @laurafruitfairy for your inspiration 😊. I started believing in it and even though I've always been a pretty positive thinker I started thinking about my thoughts more and changed them into even more positive thoughts. I started writing my thoughts and dreams down and writing down affirmations. Slowly I noticed things happening to me that I wished for and all these little miracles. Now I 100% believe that you can influence your environment and everything that happens to you with your thoughts. Of course there is always work behind it as well and things don't only happen magically without you doing anything ..you have to look out for opportunities and grab them and always believe in yourself. A huge thanks to Michi @michilifestyle_ for your motivation to always work for your dreams!
Let me know your thoughts and experiences on this topic 😊 I'm curious!
