2017 stats *long post ahead* #fitbit#fitbitstats this is from April to Dec so proud of what I achieved, pushing myself to keep going even when pain kicked in, even if I could only manage 5-10mins just getting that bit of fresh air makes all the difference. So determined to smash my goals, get where I want to be and increase my ability to move for longer distances. Feel like I've come so far and the docs and physios at pain clinic telling me id need a walking stick to get around for life at the age of 27 motivated me to push myself as I didn't want that, so I carry my tens machine at all times. Believe & achieve. #fitbitfam#fitfam#fitspo#fitspiration#fitbituk#fitbitlife#healthylifestyle#fattofit#fattofitjourney#weightloss#spoonie#spoonielife 💜💚💙💛❤️
In my 20's I was barely 100lbs. In my 30's I finally put on a little weight and was happy, In my 40's I packed on more weight and there is where my fitness journey began. At that time it was easy for me to drop and maintain weight without difficulty THE BONUS; alone with looking healthy, I felt great. Now in my 50's it's more of a challenge. I took a trip last year to the Island of Anguilla with one of my closest friends and I express to her how disgusted I was with how I looked in my swimsuit, her response was "We are not young anymore and your goal is unattianable because of age, you look better than most woman your age and you should be happy with that." This was unacceptable, so when I got home I kickup my workouts, Ive since lost some weight but I have hit a plateau, I refuse to believe because of age you settle. It makes me work harder to prove it can be done at any age. I joined the 250Kchallenge for motivation and to hold myself accountable. BONUS: A HEALTHIER FIT ME!!
