I was SUPER tight today from my Saturday workout. My soreness came yesterday but today I feel like someone wound my muscles up so tight I could barely bend to my knees. So, after my first client, I spent just under 10 minutes warming up on the cross trainer and then enjoyed a lonnggggg stretch with a pair of my bed socks on full display.
It was lovely
This past week I had the curiosity of how many steps I'd put in for a week if I walked to every errand I had to go too. Such as walking to the grocery store, walking to the bank, walking to go shopping, walking the dog, etc. Kind of like back in the day (decades ago) when women used to walk everywhere because at the time there was usually only 1 car in the household and the husband would drive it to and from work so anywhere the woman had to go, she'd have to walk.
152,700 steps in the last 7 days and I never got on the treadmill. I was also very mindful over what I ate last week and I lost 3 pounds (yay!!!). Last week I took a week off from lifting weights since I took the time to adjust to a new eating plan and I didn't know what my energy levels would be like or if I'd irritable. This week I'm back to lifting weights and the eating plan I followed last week worked wonders for me so I'll continue to follow it.
When I decided to do this I had no idea it would amount to this many steps. Ka-Ray-zee!!!
Finally got some shoes that are going to be good for my feet 🙏🏼 I’ve never had a more thorough shoe-fitting experience than at @playmakersfit. I learned that I walk on the sides of my feet and need some extra support. Feeling so much better about this whole bunion thing.

Der Mann hat sich Ende letzten Jahres so ein Ding zugelegt und nachdem ich mir das ein paar Wochen angeschaut habe, wollte ich auch. Zum Glück gibt’s das Teil auch in roségold 😬😂 Und jetzt battle ich mich fröhlich mit @fraukeks und meinem Gatten. Find ich voll gut und motiviert doch noch mal ein paar Schritte zu gehen. 🙂 Hat übrigens nichts mit Neujahrsvorsätzen zu tun - war einfach nur so passend zum Jahresanfang. Ich bin quasi dauerhaft gleich (un-) motiviert 😂

I had no energy today, but I still wanted to #mealprep. Since I popped everything into the oven, I saved so much time. I’m proud to say that it only took me 2 hours today, and now I have food for the whole week. Yay!✌️⏱ #mealprepsunday
