Here we go. As I was looking at my #futurelog (naks!) the other day, I realized I got nothing for January. Like nada. So I will focus my excess energy outside of art to something more tangible.
I then poured over Pinterest for inspiration. Not getting exactly what I want from the myriad of options, I just went with whatever I came up with now.
Btw, if I keep up with this you will have to get used to the fonts you see here as that is about the only fonts I have in my arsenal.
The box is for whatever guidelines I will set myself this month; the steps will be for the total of steps each day; the water tracker on the top; and the z is for the sleep tracker. I didn't do a weight tracker as I don't want to be enslaved (cue britney) by the number.
There are only 15 steps there, it will continue on to the next spread which has the more space consuming meal tracker, and another exercise tracker.
Prioritising your life 🗂.
I have been admiring everyone else’s bullet journals for a little while now (@hmetx I fully blame you for this :P) and decided that I would give my own a go 🖌📖. I like the idea of tailoring a journal to exactly what you need. So I’ve had a long think about my priorites – theres no point me making day to day calendar entries for example because my mind doesn’t work that way.🤯
I have come up with a few priorities to track for the coming month (track AND colour in, im not entirely sure where the last 3 hours of my life have gone but I feel calm, relaxed and like I may have a new addiction 😜).
🖌firstly, my exercise tracker, you all know this is hugely important to me at the moment and I have committed to finishing my exercise program. Hence the wheel above so I can see when I’ve done well ✅ , ½ arsed it 🤷🏼♀️or missed it ❌.
🖌I’ve also been reading the compound effect by Darren Hardy (honestly read this book), tracking my finances or saving any money has been a MAJOR downfall 😱🤭or HUGE cause of stress for me😖. So I’m gonna do a daily money tracker to help me put everything right!
🖌water tracker 💧, two reasons, first health but also having non-dry lips for my lipsticks 👄 would actually be nice for a change!
🖌weekly to-do list for my PhD jobs, better than putting it in a day to day thing because I genuinely have no idea of the scale of some of my things, so I have to keep it a bit ad-hoc and free 🕊. But ticking things off will be rewarding!
🖌Monthly mood tracker. My current journey has a lot to do with overcoming my depression and feeling completely like myself again. It will be nice to SEE my mood improving as time goes on, more good days than bad in a week and so on.

So my friends, I present you my achievements in November 2017. I saw this strategy somewhere on Instagram and tbought that was pretty clever so I tried it myself. I have to admit tracking down what you're doing throughout the weeks has helped me a lot to keep motivated eeven though I had some pretty bad days as you can see. It didn't help all of the time, I know this chart is not perfect but it helps me to find my mistakes and clear things up. I was so surprised by myself at first, the first week or so seemed to be amazing! But then I kinda lost my way on it, but I got myself up! So proud of the last week, 4 perfect days in a row!! Next month I want to have this more than once though, I'm motivated! And I'm gonna lose more than 2 kg! I mean it's okay, I didn't gain any weight, I even lost some, but it could be a little more haha ;D
It kinda surprises me that I just have the same 4 workouts I repeat a lot, I rrally though I'd do more different things though..
I'm curious how I can do next month!
